Moon II

Detailed Information:
This image of the moon was taken on January 4, 2007, one day after the full moon. It is already beginning to wane as can be seen by the terminator on the right of this image. This is a 2 frame mosaic of ST-10XME images through my BRC-250 telescope. It is a mosaic composed of two images taken through an O III filter at 0.05 seconds per subframe. Approximately 8 frames for each half of the mosaic were stacked and mean combined. I could have wanted a little better focus and seeing was questionalble at the low altitude and with thin clouds moving through. Still I think it turned out pretty well.
